Earlier this year, Rocky Top Building Products held its first Jim Shockey Hunt Sweepstakes. From our website, visitors had the opportunity to enter to win a six day hunting trip to the province of Saskatchewan hunting white-tailed bucks with an experienced guide. Ed Osterhoudt of New York was the lucky winner of this year's hunting trip!
"I would like to thank Rocky Top for the hunting trip of a lifetime. I had a wonderful time. I hunted every day and did not shoot a deer until the last day. I saw a good number of deer everyday. Friday was the busiest day. I saw 9 different bucks and 7 doe. I had bucks fighting each other in front of me. Bucks chasing the doe. I even had 2 pure white wolves come by. It was awesome.
I was beginning to get a little discouraged on Saturday morning, my last day of hunting. I was the only one in the group that had not shot a deer. I wanted to get something special and I passed up alot of smaller deer. I also passed up a nice buck on Tuesday and that was in the back of my mind whether I made the right decision. Then, a nice big
8 point buck walked out in front of me. I made a great shot and he didn't go far.
I enjoyed the company of your customers Dave and Mark. It was easy to tell that they appreciate the service they get, and quality products they buy from Rocky Top.
